um, stupid.... Nate Beeler had a good one of Batman in a hybrid. I couldn't compete with that.

Need to get back to making a good set of cartoons.

Super quick....

Since my last Obama was so bad, I redid the cartoon... in my defense, the last one was only a quick sketch..

Also extremely lame, it appears someone tried to hack my site. They inserted an .htaccess in the directory that did not allow viewing any images in the directory. I know I didn't do it. The ISP didn't claim responsibility. I'm sure the blogging software I'm using is not the most secure and allows unwanted uploads if you know how to trick it... blah. I tried tightening down some of the permissions, but it is still really lame.

Wedding Roadtrips

Not a very political cartoon... Also, not quite the style I've been evolving. Also also, way late on this topic (I had to add a title so it even made sense). But, I thought it was a funny idea. I also thought of the New Yorker cartoonist, Sempe, while drawing this. His simple characters in a funny scene, with an occasional joke that causes a smile, but certainly not a laugh. I also also thought of Shannon, a former sysadm at Weaver, who had recently moved to California. The rumor was he was about to get married before he died, which was very sad.

Doug thinks my recent topics/ideas have been too tame... maybe... I still need to get some good caricatures of all the current politicians and put them on the home page.

I had fun drawing the McCain-mobile, even though it is a bit messy. Reminded me of one of my major tenents of this project: drawing something fun. I had forgotten it.
